Make in-room TV an info hub
Keep residents entertained AND informed when they can’t leave their rooms by mixing community announcements in with regular entertainment or exercise programming.
Use forms for resident needs
Build forms using free tools like Google Forms. You can let residents request check-ups, meal service to their suite or toiletries if they need or would like to stay in their room.
Connect residents by phone
Encourage residents to use their directories to call, text and email friends so they can stay connected even when they need to stay home.
Use digital signage to communicate
Both staff- and resident-facing signs are a simple way to keep your community in the loop as the situation develops.
